Job Overview

As a Finance Analyst, you will play a critical role in supporting financial decision-making by collecting, analyzing, and interpreting financial data. You will be responsible for forecasting, budgeting, and evaluating the company's financial performance while identifying trends and opportunities for growth. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, analytical, and skilled at turning complex data into actionable insights.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Financial Analysis & Reporting

    • Analyze financial performance, identify trends, and prepare detailed financial reports.
    • Provide insights and recommendations for improving financial performance.
    • Monitor key financial metrics to support strategic decision-making.
  • Budgeting & Forecasting

    • Assist in developing, managing, and refining annual budgets.
    • Prepare financial forecasts and scenario analyses.
    • Evaluate variances between actuals and budgets, investigating discrepancies.
  • Data Management & Insights

    • Manage large datasets to perform analysis efficiently.
    • Collaborate with stakeholders to design and refine financial dashboards and reporting tools.
  • Cost Control

    • Review and analyze cost structures, identifying areas for optimization.
    • Ensure expenditures align with company objectives and financial plans.
  • Strategic Support

    • Support management in developing long-term financial strategies.
    • Participate in risk assessments and mitigation plans.
    • Provide input on investment strategies and evaluate ROI

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (Master’s or CPA/CFA is a plus).
  • Proven experience as a Finance Analyst or in a related role (minimum 2-3 years preferred).
  • Strong proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, and budgeting.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel; experience with financial software/tools such as SAP, Oracle, or Power BI is a plus.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex data in simple terms.
  • High attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
  • Familiarity with accounting principles (GAAP/IFRS).
